Matthew 26:6-13
John 12:2-11
Mark 14:10-11
Matthew 26:14-16
Luke 22:3-6

And while he was in Bethany in the home of Simon the leper,
as he was sitting a woman came
having an alabaster flask of expensive genuine nard perfume;
breaking the flask she poured it on his head.

And some were angry saying to themselves,
"Why has this waste of the perfume happened?
For this perfume could be sold
for over three hundred days' wages
and be given to the poor;
and they were upset with her.

But Jesus said, "Let her go;
why are you bothering her?
She did a beautiful thing for me.
For you have the poor with you all the time,
and whenever you wish, you can do good for them,
but me you do not have all the time.
What she had she did;
beforehand she has anointed my body for burial.
Amen, I tell you,
wherever the good message is preached in the whole world,
what she did will also be spoken in memory of her."
Mark 14:3-9

And when Jesus was in Bethany
in the home of Simon the leper,
a woman approached him
having an alabaster flask of precious perfume
and poured it on his head as he was sitting up.

And the disciples seeing were angry saying, "Why this waste?
For this could be sold for much and be given to the poor."

But Jesus being aware said to them,
"Why are you bothering the woman?
For she did a beautiful thing to me;
for you have the poor with you all the time,
but me you do not have all the time;
for she put this perfume on my body for my burial.
Amen, I tell you,
wherever this good message is preached in the whole world,
what she did will also be spoken in memory of her."
Matthew 26:6-13

So they made a dinner for him there, and Martha served,
and Lazarus was one of those dining with him;
so Mary taking a pound of expensive genuine nard perfume
anointed the feet of Jesus
and wiped off his feet with her hair;
and the house was filled with the odor of the perfume.

But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples,
who was about to give him over,
says, "Why was this perfume not sold
for three hundred days' wages and given to the poor?"
He said this not because he cared about the poor,
but because he was a thief
and having the money box he used to lift what was put in it.

So Jesus said, "Let her go,
so that she may keep it for the day of my burial;
for you have the poor with you all the time,
but me you do not have all the time."

So a large crowd of Jews became aware that he was there,
and they came not because of Jesus alone,
but so that they might also see Lazarus
whom he raised from the dead.
And the high priests decided that they should kill Lazarus too,
because many of the Jews went because of him
and believed in Jesus.
John 12:2-11

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve,
went away to the high priests
so that he might give him over to them.
And hearing they were glad and promised to give him silver.
And he sought how he might conveniently give him over.
Mark 14:10-11

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot,
going to the high priests
said, "What are you willing to give me,
if I give him over to you?"
And they offered him thirty silver coins.
And from then on he looked for an opportunity
so that he might give him over.
Matthew 26:14-16

And Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot,
who was of the number of the twelve;
and going away he spoke with the high priests and captains
how me might give him over.
And they were glad, and they agreed to give him silver.
And he consented, and he looked for an opportunity
to give him over to them apart from the crowd.
Luke 22:3-6
