Mark 1:16-20
Matthew 4:18-22
Luke 5:1-11

And passing along beside the Sea of Galilee
he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon
casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen.
And Jesus said to them, "Come after me,
and I will make you become fishers of people."
And immediately leaving the nets they followed him.

And having gone on a little
he saw James son of Zebedee and John his brother,
and they were in the boat preparing the nets.
And immediately he called them,
and leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men
they went away after him.
Mark 1:16-20

And walking beside the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers,
Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother,
casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
And he says to them, "Come after me,
and I will make you fishers of people."
And immediately leaving the nets they followed him.

And having gone on from there he saw another pair of brothers,
James son of Zebedee and John his brother,
in the boat with Zebedee their father preparing their nets;
and he called them.
And immediately leaving the boat and their father
they followed him.
Matthew 4:18-22

It happened as the crowd was pressing him
and listening to the word of God,
as he was standing beside the Lake Gennesaret,
that he saw two boats standing beside the lake;
And the fishermen having gone away from them
were washing the nets.
And embarking in one of the boats, which was Simon's,
he asked him to put out a little from the land;
and sitting he taught the crowds from the boat.

And when he stopped speaking, he said to Simon,
"Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch."

And Simon answering said, "Master,
laboring through the whole night we took nothing,
but upon your saying I will let down the nets."
And having done this they enclosed a large quantity of fish;
and their nets were being torn.
And they signaled to the partners in a different boat
to come help them;
and they came, and filled both boats so that they were sinking.

And Simon Peter seeing fell down at the knees of Jesus
saying, "Go away from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord."
For wonder seized him and all those with him
at the catch of fish which they took,
likewise also James and John sons of Zebedee,
who were Simon's partners.

And Jesus said to Simon, "Fear not;
from now on you will take living people."
And bringing in the boats to land,
leaving everything they followed him.
Luke 5:1-11
